About Simply Vika
Simply Vika is a Russian-Israeli artist based in New York City, known for blending conscious rap, poetic songwriting, and bold visuals that transcend borders and genres. Her work draws deeply from personal experience, multilingual identity, and a mission to inspire through radical authenticity. She creates and performs in English, Russian, and Hebrew, often merging rap, pop, and electronic music into something that’s uniquely her own.
A former military sergeant turned boundary-pushing creative, Vika has become a voice for gender equality, mental health, and self-empowerment. Her discography includes tracks like “I’m Trying”, “Hollywood”, and “BiGiDi BiGiDi”, a visually captivating anthem that celebrates individuality. In August 2025, she will preview her debut album Diaries, a raw, genre-bending project combining three languages and three styles of music.
She’s also the author of the poetry-photography hybrid Pretty (&) Alone, available on Amazon, which quickly gained popularity among readers who don’t typically read poetry. A second book titled Diaries is on the way in 2025, expanding her storytelling into spoken word and visual form.
As a live performer, Simply Vika has made her mark on stages across New York and LA. Her thought-provoking radio and podcast appearances, including Newtown Radio and recent interviews on Badass Lady-Folk, Channel 9, and Radio Sol showcase her passion for creative dialogue and cultural change.
Beyond music and poetry, Vika is a photographer. Her work has been exhibited in events like Art of Femme at Brooklyn Art Cave, and she’s been featured in platforms like Canvas Rebel, BuzzMusic, Shoutout LA, and Platinum Hip-Hop talking about her art.
With a 2025 U.S. tour in the works and upcoming ventures in film music and visual storytelling, Simply Vika continues to defy categories and proving that true artistry has no borders, no genre, and no limits.
